Santogold is one bad-ass chick. This album is pretty great. I love the upbeat vibe and the decidedly 80s pop sound . This album is great summertime music.

Ratatat

I saw Ratatat last summer at the Summercase Music Festival in Barcelona. I really enjoyed their performance and subsequently acquired all of their albums. Since then I have really been looking forward to some new material from them. Well... it looks like new Ratatat is finally on the way. They just released a new 7' and a new album entitled "3PL" is set for release in July. Here is two new tracks to enjoy:
